For some time now I have been taking melatonin at night, the brain's natural sleep hormone.
And have been sleeping a little better.
Still dont sleep more than 3 to 4 hours pr day and it is not enough (been that way for more than twenty years - NOT healty !!)
In an old article I found a little note that said that in "the old day, before "modern medicin" ;-) Melatonin was sometimes used to treat Interstitiel Cystitis !!!
(Today called Painfull Bladder Syndrome)
I found that very interesting cause it is a natural hormon.
I tried to find out excately where the "good thing happens", besides that it seems to do a lot of general good things, it also helps the chemical balance in the bladder wall to remain "in balance".
And one can safely say is completely out of touch in my case ! Will see if I can find the artickle again and link it here !
So I am taking 6 mg to the night and in the middle of the day 1,5 - 3 mg... and sleeps some days about halv af hour ! Maybe not impressing but with max 4 hours sleep at night and ad half an hour in the day - it is absolutely better then before!
And it gives a little more energy !
